Handwoven Nettle Placemat

Giant Himalayan Nettle has been used to weave this beautiful placemat. The fabric is woven on a traditional handloom in the Nepali Himalayas by highly skilled Nepali artisans. The nettle is picked in the wild as it grows so plentifully in Nepal. We source the wild nettle from small local co-ops run by women.
